2020/2021 Ad Sales
While on staff for the 2020 and 2021 production years, I made several spreadsheets with different companies and businesses that have bought ads previously with the yearbook. In addition, I made a list of businesses within the Mount Pleasant area that have not been talked to by any student publications and used that as an opportunity to see if they were interested in one from the Wando Yearbook.
2022 Ad Sales
For the 2022 production year, myself along with the two other editors in chief and advisor came up with ways that we could increase sales from the previous year. We decided to post on social media to increase the exposure of those who would be interested in buying a yearbook and placed posters around the school with our theme to gain attention. We also set cheaper prices at the beginning of the year to increase the likelihood that students and families would them at the beginning of the year. The pictures that are included down below are examples of the posts that are made on the Instagram account.
